EVALUATION - Question 4
Who would be the audience for your media product?
The audience for my magazine would be school pupils of the school it is about. Also depending on the subject or area of school that specific issue is about. For instance, the cover that i designed, was about a play that was performed at the shcool, so that magazine would be targetted towards pupils in the arts or pupils that are interested in getting involved in the arts. It would also be a good outlet to tell the pupils and parents to let them know about anything that is happening coming up.
EVALUATION - Question 3
What kind of institution might distribute your media product and why?
As my magazine is a school magazine, i dont not think that a newsagents will distribute and sell my magazine as it would be pointless. The stories and articles would only be about events that are going on in the school therefore the production company is at a loss for producing that weeks issue. Also, I do not think that there would be great interest from the public so from that aspect, even if the public did purchase that weeks issue, i do not think that they would read it in depth, therefore they would throw it away, wasting money and time in production.
As my magazine is about Trinity School, which is a church school, it would be good to distribute the magazine within the affiliated local church, and in turn, advertises the school.

EVALUATION - Question 1

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? My magazine cover uses cover lines. This is conforming with codes and conventions as i am not trying to make the public view differ from the norm. Cover lines are used on evey magazine cover as a lure to make you buy the magazine. My magazine also does this. The masthead on my cover is at the top of the page, again this is going along with code and conventions as all of the magazines that i could find have thier masthead at the top of the page. another magazine that use the same codes and conventions, in terms of the mast head, is GQ.
My contents page follows such codes and conventions as having the page numbers to tell you what page the specific article is on. Apart from that, there aren't a lot of codes and conventions. In hindsight, i could have made this page cleaner and easier to read by putting in more text rather than filling it up with images. i could have mad it cleaner by putting all of the page numbers in one collumn doww the right or left side. This would have conformed with codes and conventions.
